IHM-AURANGABAD’S CLASS OF 2020 GRADUATES: IHCL OFFERS STUDENTS 100% PLACEMENT
MUMBAI: Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad (IHM-A) held its graduation ceremony for the class of 2020, where Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality company, announced 100 per cent placement for the graduating class. This is in line with the company’s commitment to enabling talent development for the industry and creating employment opportunities. The students, who have received international degrees in Hotel Management and Culinary Arts, awarded by the University of Huddersfield, UK, will be joining IHCL hotels across the country.
Dr. Satish Jayaram, PhD. Professor, Principal and Director (Learning & Development) IHM, Aurangabad said, “In keeping with the changing times, IHM-A held its first ever e-graduation ceremony, attended by the families as well as industry experts. We are extremely grateful to Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) for offering 100 per cent placement to all our graduates during these challenging times faced by the industry.”
The keynote address was given by Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, IHCL. The motivational talk encouraged the students about important lessons that they needed to learn as they embarked on their new journey. He spoke about applying academic knowledge to practical situations, building renewable advantage, resilience, agility and collaboration so they could grow into great future leaders. The students received special awards from distinguished industry veterans, on the Board of Governors of the Institute.
