IIAD conducts a vaccination drive for staff members and dependants

New Delhi : The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) organized a free vaccination drive for its employees and for their family members . The Delhi-based private design college partnered with a top-tier healthcare provider and hospital to ensure safe and hassle-free vaccinations. The vaccinations were administered at SCI International Hospital, Greater Kailash, New Delhi. People eligible for the vaccination drive included all of IIAD’s faculty members, staff, support staff and family members.

IIAD’s Director Dr. Jitin Chadha said “We are a campus which is visited by hundreds of students, teaching and non-teaching staff on a daily basis under normal circumstances. Student and staff safety is our topmost priority and this motivated us to organize a vaccination drive. We can now confidently say that all eligible members of our staff have been vaccinated and this would be a very safe environment for students to come back to, by the time our government allows regular on-campus classes. We are also urging all our students above the age of 18 to get themselves vaccinated as per the government guidelines”.

Amongst other initiatives, IIAD plans on conducting a similar drive for its students in the coming months.
