IIHMR University, Jaipur to conduct its first ever E-Convocation Ceremony
Jaipur: To ensure that students receive their due degrees on time, Jaipur based IIHMR university has decided to hold an e-convocation ceremony on 4th July 2020 for the management batch of 2018-2020. The 6th convocation of IIHMR University goes online this year amidst the COVID-19 Lockdown. Dr. Raghu Sharma, Cabinet Minister of Medical and Health, Medical Education, Ayurveda, and DIPR, Government of Rajasthan, will be the Chief Guest during the ceremony. Ms. Priyanka Aggarwal, MD, Boston Consulting Group, New Delhi, will be the Guest of Honor.
Students of IIHMR University, Jaipur, will be awarded their due degrees of MBA in Hospital Management, Pharmaceutical Management, and Rural Management, along with the doctorate degrees. During the e- convocation ceremony, students will also be awarded gold and silver medals for their outstanding performance during the course work.
Announcing the e-convocation ceremony, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, President IIHMR University, said, “Lockdown has been imposed since the last week of March, which restricts large gatherings and traveling; conducting e-convocation ceremony is the only viable option that we adopted as part of new normal. Over 217 students hailing from different states of India, will be given their management degrees from IIHMR, Jaipur. The University has decided to hold an e-convocation ceremony on 4th July 2020 and send out degrees to the students by post. For students, and for us, it is going to be a completely new experience as we have managed to adapt to the changing environment. For students, they might miss wearing the robe, tossing hats, and clicking memorable pictures. We are trying to make this day a memorable one for them”
The Chairman, President, and Members of the Board of Management, IIHMR University, will be addressing the students and sharing their valuable experiences, which will help students for their bright future.
