IIIT-Delhi to organize Research Innovation and Incubation Showcase (RIISE) 2022

New Delhi: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) is all set to organize its yearly event, “Research, Innovation, and Incubation Showcase (RIISE)” on Friday, April 8, 2022.

This year, there are eight key themes – Artificial Intelligence, Core Research, Cyber-Physical Systems, Design, Healthcare, Lab to Market/ Start-ups, Sustainability, and Technology as a Public Good.

IIIT-Delhi has been organizing the Showcase since 2015, and the event offers an opportunity for participants to explore the various activities, work, and exciting research happening in the institution. RIISE also offers room for collaboration and learning to create a better future.

Renowned speakers, academicians, and subject experts will attend the event and offer their insight on the various themes. Speakers associated with each theme will also share an insight into their recent research and findings, including work that has not been published yet. IIIT-Delhi expects the event to be a gala platform for new announcements and collaborations.

“At IIIT-Delhi, it has been our core endeavour to make room for constructive talk and collaboration, and our core eight themes this year are focused on current global areas of interest. Through our events scheduled on Artificial Intelligence, Core Research, Cyber-Physical Systems, Design, Healthcare, Lab to Market/ Start-ups, Sustainability, and Technology as a Public Good, we hope to share a sneak peek into the campus happenings of our prestigious institution. We are expecting a gala response from young scholars and students,” – said Prof. Anubha Gupta, Technical Chair of the Organizing Committee at IIIT-Delhi

Participants can join the event by registering at http://www.iiitd.ac.in/riise. The events will be organized at IIIT-Delhi campus, with online streaming available to registered users only.

  • Prof. Ram Gopal Rao, Professor, Department. of EE, IIT Delhi
  • Dr Andreia Cathelin, STMicroelectronics

Additionally, the event also has distinguished speakers in each theme who will be delivering talks on various topics under their theme.

IIIT-Delhi will hand out entry passes for participants to enter the campus to attend the events with the opportunity to have one-to-one interaction with students and faculty members. Online participants would be given login credentials to access various events. There would also be a poster presentation opportunity at the campus, and online participants can join e- sessions.
