IIM Bangalore to host the XV International Conference on Public Policy & Management from August 24 to 26 in virtual mode

Bengaluru: The Centre for Public Policy at IIM Bangalore will host the XV International Conference on Public Policy and Management from August 24 to August 26, 2020. The conference will see more than 30 papers being presented in two parallel sessions over three days. Due to the current situation, the conference will be held online.

The three-day conference will be inaugurated on August 24 (Monday), 2020 at 09.00 am by Justice Madan B Lokur, former Justice of the Supreme Court of India. Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore, and Prof. M S Sriram, Chairperson, Centre for Public Policy at IIM Bangalore, will deliver welcome addresses.

On August 25 (Tuesday), 2020, between 06.30 pm and 08.00 pm, there will be a special conversation on ‘Public Policy for Food and Agricultural Markets: Planet Micro and Planet Macro’, between Prof. Barbara Harriss-White, Economist and Emeritus Professor of Development Studies and Dr. Mekhala Krishnamurthy, Senior Fellow at CPR and Associate Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Ashoka University.

The valedictory address would be delivered by Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, Chief Scientist, World Health Organization, on August 26 (Wednesday), 2020, at 02.00 pm.
