IIM Bangalore’s Mizuho India Japan Study Centre to host webinar titled ‘Leadership Begins where Management Ends – Some Lessons from Transformational Leaders of India and Japan’ as part of the lecture series ‘Tatsujin-Speak’ on May 28

Bengaluru: The Mizuho India Japan Study Centre (MIJSC), an IIM Bangalore Centre of Excellence, will host an enlightening conversation with the bestselling author and consultant Jayaram Easwaran, Independent Director at Jindal Stainless Ltd, on May 28 (Friday), 2021 from 03.00 pm to 04.00 pm, as part of the centre’s flagship lecture series ‘Tatsujin-Speak’ or ‘Expert-Speak’. During this one-hour virtual dialogue titled, ‘Leadership Begins where Management Ends – Some Lessons from Transformational Leaders of India and Japan’, Jayaram San will touch upon different aspects of leadership dynamics he has seen and experienced in India and Japan, and provide key takeaways for people in all stages of corporate life – from students to managers.

 

Jayaram San with his decades of cross-cultural experience and leadership mentoring, will discuss with examples different styles of leadership of Japanese and Indian leaders. He believes that although there is no one right approach to leadership, it begins where management ends. He is also convinced that belief drives behavior.
