IIM Bodh Gaya climbs 20 ranks to be ranked 33 by NIRF in 2024

In the latest National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, under the management category, IIM Bodh Gaya has achieved the 33rd position taking a significant 20 leaps forward from 53rd rank in 2023. This achievement is particularly noteworthy as it makes IIM Bodh Gaya the only institute from Bihar to be ranked among the top 50 management institutes in India. Other institutes from Bihar like AIIMS Patna (ranked 26 in the Medical category) and IIT Patna (34 in the engineering category) have made it to the top 100 list, being at 99 and 73, respectively in the overall category. NIRF is a national-level ranking framework approved by MHRD and was launched in 2015.

Under the leadership of the Director, Prof. Vinita S. Sahay, the institute’s emphasis on holistic development, innovative teaching methods, and industry collaborations set a new benchmark for management education in the state.

IIM Bodh Gaya, today boasts more than 1400 students from more than 26 states on campus studying in 5 fully residential programmes which are Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), MBA, MBA-Digital Business Management(DBM), MBA- Hospital and Healthcare Management (HHM), and PhD. With state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, it hosts a nurturing environment for development. Recently, the institute reported 100% placements in Finals as well as the Summer Internship placements for its MBA courses.
