This collaboration between IIM Bodh Gaya and J-WiRE began with the launch of the Rural Immersion
for Social Engagement (RISE) program during the summer. 65 students from IIM Bodh Gaya embarked
on internships with J-WiRE, working diligently on various aspects of the business, including website
development, HR manual refinement, and operational processes. IIM Bodh Gaya is committed to
sustaining this partnership, ensuring that second-year students continue their annual internships.
The successful partnership between IIM Bodh Gaya and J-WiRE had yielded substantial benefits,
evident in the notable increase in revenue, now standing at 3.4 Crores, as shared by Mr. Pushpendra
Singh Tiwari. This underscores the advantages of optimizing company processes. Furthermore, the
collaboration between IIM BG and Jeevika, in the long-term would ultimately extend its positive impact
to the homes of many, thereby uplifting rural Bihar. Partnerships of this caliber possess the
transformative potential to effect meaningful societal change from the grassroots up.
