Gaya: The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya is set to host its upcoming annual cultural, management and sports fest Elegante 2019 on 16th and 17th of November. Since its inception, IIM Bodhgaya has always emphasized on holistic learning along with nurturing a sense of oneness and solidarity to augment the formation of a sustainable and peaceful community. IIM Bodhgaya’s annual fest is an attempt to reinforce its existing principles and foray further into the field of cooperation, relationship strengthening and overall development of the society. The locus of Elegante lies in bringing together students across various domains and colleges pan India through a wide array of cultural and management events, sports, and entertainment.
Elegante promises to play an important role in bringing students of engineering and management from IIMs, IITs, NITs, as well as students of other eminent Institutions within and outside Bodhgaya on the same platform. This will certainly result in better interaction, cooperation among students of various fields which will benefit society at large. 2019 edition of Elegante is scheduled on 16th and 17th November.
Elegante’ 2018, the previous edition, was a spectacular success that witnessed an approximate footfall of more than 2500 participants across various colleges pan India. With previous year performances by elite artists from the entertainment sphere such as Astitva and flagship events like Blood Donation Drive and IPL auction, Elegante has catapulted to the highest echelons of cultural as well as managerial brilliance. In previous years, Elegante leveraged its presence on social media platforms and was appreciated by the student fraternity.
This year, Elegante is going to be larger and grander with expected footfall of more than 4000 participants from more than 30 colleges. The 2-day fest will be an eventful journey with various events being organised during the period. Fest will include various sports competitions such as Football, Cricket, Volleyball, TT, Basketball etc. Along with Sports events, there will be multiple cultural competitions for the entertainment of guests including singing, dancing, fashion show, face painting competition. Along with these, multiple online gaming events like PUBG, CS and FIFA will be part of the fest. Also, renowned artists will be performing for the event including the star attraction Gajendra Verma. On the management front, various clubs of IIM Bodh Gaya will be involved in organising management related events. All in all the fest will be the culmination of various students from diverse backgrounds displaying their talents.
