IIM Calcutta alumni celebrate annual alumni congregation in Mumbai

 

Mumbai: IIM Calcutta alumni celebrated the annual alumni congregation, Nostalgia on May 4th at National Sports Club of India, Mumbai. The evening witnessed the presence of around 440 revered alumni of IIM Calcutta across batches, faculty members, students, and interns.

Speaking at the occasion Sunil Sood, CEO & MD, Vodafone India said, “It feels great to regress back, meet old friends and relive those good old days at Joka.”

The evening was graced by the presence of Shivakumar, President- Corporate Strategy & Business Development, Aditya Birla Group; Tarun Malkani, Former – COO, Rio Tinto Diamonds; Padmanabh (Paddy) Sinha, Managing Partner, Tata Opportunities Fund; Manimala Hazarika, Co-Founder, Mums ‘n’ Babies; Ashish Chauhan, CEO, BSE; Ambareesh Murthy, CEO, Pepperfry; Joy Bhakat – CEO, Steadview capital; Monica Rustagi – CFO, Santa Fe Relocation; Krishnakumar Sankaranarayanan, Executive Director, PwC (PGPEX 1st batch alumni); MG Parameswaran – Ajunct Prof of Marketing, SPJIMR and Vijay Narke – PGP 2nd batch alumni.

Every year, IIM Calcutta organizes alumni congregation in various cities with an aim to strengthen the bond between the batches and provide networking opportunities to students. The institute has been leveraging the same culture to establish a better connect between the current batch and the alumni.
