IIM Jammu and PowerGrid Corporation Explore Strategic Collaboration in Executive Education, Research, Consulting, and CSR Initiatives

Jammu : Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu, and Shri R.K. Tyagi, Chairman and Managing Director Power Grid Corporation, convened on 28th June 2024 to explore a strategic collaboration in executive education, research, consulting, and CSR initiatives.

Shri R.K. Tyagi Chairman and Managing Director, Power Grid Corporation emphasized Power Grid Corporation’s commitment to nation-building, noting that the partnership will be mutually beneficial for both Power Grid Corporation and IIM Jammu.

Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu mentioned that this collaboration will significantly contribute to both the Institutions, the community and nation at large.

Power Grid Corporation, a Maharatna Company incorporated in 1989, specializes in the transmission of power through its EHVAC/HVDC transmission network and has diversified into the telecom business by leveraging its Pan India transmission network via optical ground wire (OPGW).

IIM Jammu, an Institute of national importance established in 2016, is renowned for its practice-oriented learning approach and industry-focused curriculum driven by a strong corporate interface. The Institute aspires to be among the top B-schools globally by integrating a global perspective into all its programs amidst a rapidly changing global environment.
