IIM Mumbai joins CFA Institute University Affiliation Program
Mumbai : CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, welcomes the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai, into its University Affiliation Program (UAP). The affiliation aligns with the prestigious stature of IIM Mumbai’s Master in Business Administration (MBA), renowned as one of the nation’s most esteemed academic offerings. This collaboration will foster the growth of adept managers and leaders by delivering top-tier management education in India. Notably, the UAP’s primary aim is to facilitate students in achieving the coveted CFA designation which is acclaimed worldwide as the premier investment management credential.
In India, there is a rapidly rising interest in the CFA Program among students and experienced professionals alike. CFA Institute has established test centers in 26 cities across India, including Mumbai, to cater to this growing demand from students. Over 70 percent of the UAP’s course content is in harmony with CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK), further strengthening the synergy between the two organizations.
