IIM Nagpur and WCL Sign MoU to Train Executives

 

Nagpur: The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur signed an MoU with the Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a Miniratna Company, and a subsidiary of Coal India Limited today. This collaboration aims to provide a comprehensive training program to the middle- and senior-level management executives of WCL at IIM Nagpur, focusing on leadership development, strategic management, and industry-specific skills.
While signing the MoU, Mr. Jai Prakash Dwivedi, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of WCL and Mr. Narendra Kumar, GM (HRD) expressed pleasure on behalf of their company that the MoU will play a pivotal role in further honing the skills of their Executives upon being trained by the IIM Nagpur faculty.
The Director of IIM Nagpur, Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, said after signing the MoU that WCL is one of the reputed companies in the country, and it is an immense pleasure that its Management Executives will be trained in the Institute to enhance their skills further.
The training program will include interactive workshops, case studies, and hands-on projects designed to address the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry. This approach ensures that executives can apply their learning directly to their roles, driving innovation and efficiency within WCL. It will keep them abreast of the new trends and train them to excel further.
