Nagpur: The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur, a pioneering institution among the third-generation IIMs, has commenced admissions for the eighth batch of the Senior Management Programme. This 12-month programme is meticulously designed to equip mid-to-senior level professionals with the skills and strategic insights required to ascend to leadership roles, enabling them to guide their organizations toward sustained growth and innovation.
According to PwC India’s Crisis and Resilience Survey 2023, 52 percent of organisations cited upskilling future leaders as one of the top three critical elements in future-proofing their resilience. The survey underscores the importance of leaders developing three essential components: integration, leadership and operational resilience. Furthermore, research commissioned by UST, a leading digital transformation solutions company, indicates that while most organisations have embraced artificial intelligence (AI), they lack a skilled AI workforce. Harvard Business Review notes that inclusive leadership, strategic agility, conflict management and emotional and social intelligence are among the top skills needed for the future of work.
In an era of global uncertainties, organisations and professionals are increasingly mandated to enhance their skill sets and prepare a future-ready workforce. The IIM Nagpur Senior Management Programme is designed to equip learners with the necessary skills to develop emerging leaders, gain cross-functional knowledge, and acquire strategic insights through interactive teaching methodologies. They will also learn to leverage data and digital trends to make impactful decisions that ensure sustainability and drive effective growth. The programme’s three core modules—’Leading and Managing in Today’s Business World,’ ‘Building Financial Acumen and Mastering Global Business Strategies,’ and ‘People, Profit and Sustainability: HR, Growth Strategies and Enterprise Risk Management’—comprise 16 core concepts that serve as the gateway for future leaders. These modules will help learners transition from managing specific roles to leading organisations.
Speaking at the announcement, Dr. Metri Bhimaraya, Director, IIM Nagpur, said, “The IIM Nagpur-TimesPro Senior Management Programme is a significant offering for contemporary business professionals aiming to ensure sustainable growth and advance their careers.
