IIM Tiruchirappalli Inaugurates Management Development Programme for Junior Level Managers of TAFE

Tiruchirappalli: Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli inaugurated the Management Development Programme for Managers of TAFE – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited on 11th July 2022. The programme is designed for managers to aid their learning of business management skills.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries present, followed by a welcome address by Prof. K S Manikandan, Programme Director. In his address, he extended a hearty welcome to the program participants and extended his wishes for the enriching journey ahead.

Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Trichy, addressed the participants and spoke about the importance of re-schooling and the propensity to learn in all stages of life. He also emphasized the need for long-term strategic learning within secondary sector organizations like TAFE.

Shri. Muthukumar Thanu, President & Group CHRO, TAFE, addressed the gathering. He said that a great manager begins with the end goal in mind and goes forward with the win-win mindset. He noted that enabling others’ performance, understanding their business holistically, and being resilient are key qualities that any manager should strive to develop.

Prof. Anirban Som, Programme Director, delivered the vote of thanks. He expressed his gratitude towards all and wished the participants success. The inaugural event concluded with the National Anthem, followed by a group photograph.
