The event was graced by Ms. Meeta Rajivlochan, IAS Secretary, Youth Affairs, Govt. of India. She stressed how self-esteem comes from knowledge of tradition, who we are, and how it can act as means for self- upliftment of women. She highlighted the need to create facilities for women in the workplace in a country where women are no longer a minority.
Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Tiruchirappalli, talked about the need to eliminate the separate identity associated with men and women and consider them on equal grounds.
