IIM Tiruchirappalli to host the 25th Annual Convention of the Strategic Management Forum
IIM Tiruchirappalli is hosting the 25th Annual Convention of Strategic Management Forum from December 18-20, 2023. The theme of the convention is “The Future of Strategy and Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Challenges in a Changing Landscape”.
The Strategic Management Forum (SMF) is an esteemed association of strategic management professionals from various sectors, including industry, academia, and public administration. Its primary mission is to promote and disseminate strategic management concepts and practices across India. The SMF’s annual convention has been hosted at prestigious institutions such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Lucknow.
Featuring ten tracks dedicated to various disciplines related to strategic management, each led by twenty leading scholars, this convention provides a platform for intellectual exchange and the sharing of innovative ideas. The convention will be attended by around 200 researchers and academicians from across the country and abroad.
The inauguration of the convention is scheduled for 11.30 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at IIM Tiruchirappalli Auditorium.
Dr. Rajkumar Upadhyay, CEO Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), will be the Chief Guest for the inauguration function.
Dr. Charles Dhanaraj, J Mack Robinson Professor of International Business, Georgia State University, will deliver the keynote address.
In addition to paper presentations, the convention will feature expert panel sessions on Indian Knowledge Systems, the Future of Business Schools, and Publishing in Top Journals. The convention participants would also be part of workshops on diverse topics such as Best Practices in Qualitative Research, Teaching through Simulations, Meta-Analysis as a Research Tool, and Teaching through Case Method
