IIMB launches General Management Programme (GMPx) in Dubai

Bengaluru: Indian Institute of Bangalore (IIMB) has launched its first ever transborder Executive Education Programme in Dubai. The General Management Programme (GMPx) for senior professionals provides them with the skills, knowledge and global perspectives required in today’s business world. It prepares them to be future-ready leaders who will drive transformation and change within organizations.

The GMPx has been designed by Professors P.D. Jose, Vasanthi Srinivasan and G. Shainesh.

Madan Mohan Raj, Chief Programme Officer, Executive Education Programmes at IIMB, said: “Experienced executives who aspire to develop strategic and general management perspectives on a global canvas will benefit the most out of this programme”.

This modular programme, spread over 8 months, combines intense sessions across 24-classroom days and virtual sessions via MOOCs. The programme will help participants adapt to the fast-changing business environment. The classroom sessions will be spread over five modules in Dubai and Bangalore.

IIMB offers a range of Long Duration and Certificate Programmes for managers and business leaders. These include Executive General Management Programme (EGMP), General Management Programme for IT, Aerospace and Aviation and the Healthcare sectors, and the Advanced Management Programme (AMP).

The GMPx leverages the extensive experience of IIMB Professors in designing and delivering programmes for middle and senior managers. This blended programme also leverages the Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) hosted on the IIMBx platform.

The GMPx will help participants gain knowledge on emerging contemporary business models and enhance their digital skills in developing and implementing business strategies with a global perspective.
