IIMC announces Spot Admission for vacant seats in Odia Journalism course

 

Dhenkanal : The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced offline spot admissions to fill up the vacant seats in its Post Graduate Diploma Odia Journalism course. A total of 11 seats are available for admission in the upcoming academic session 2023-24. The written test for admission will be conducted on 25 August, 2023 at IIMC’s Dhenkanal campus. The results of the written test will be declared the same day and the qualified students will be able to deposit their fees the same day.

According to the Regional Director of IIMC Dhenkanal Campus, a total of 11 seats are available in different categories. It includes two seats in EWS (General) category, four seats in OBC category, three in SC and two in ST categories. Students possessing a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any field and having good command over Odia language are eligible to apply for the vacant seats. The details of the course content, fee structure, age limit, eligibility criteria, etc can be accessed from the IIMC’s website www.iimc.nic.in.

Eligible candidates have to appear for a written test at 11.00 am on August 25, 2023 (Friday) at IIMC Dhenkanal campus after registering their names and paying the application fee on the spot. The announcement of results will be made on the same day. The self-attested documents that the interested candidates are required to carry include: proof of date of birth, documents related to (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD) reservation, proof of address, mark sheet/certificates of Class 10th, 12th and Graduation and two passport size photographs.

Successful candidates will be given a maximum of six days’ time (on or before 31 August, 2023) to secure their admission by depositing the prescribed fees along with necessary documents. The IIMC has made it clear that the fee once deposited will not be refunded in the spot round.
