IIMC First Merit List 2021 for PG Diploma Courses released

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication has declared the IIMC 2021 first merit list online. Candidates who have appeared for the examination can visit the official website, (iimc.gov.in) to check the first merit list 2021 of various PG Diploma Courses. Candidates need to click on the link of the subject they have appeared to check the IIMC 2021Merit list.
The Indian Institute of Mass communication has released the First Merit list for the PG Diploma programmes such as Advertising and Public Relations, Hindi Journalism, Radio and TV Journalism, English Journalism (Delhi, Dhenkanal, Kottayam, Jammu, Aizawl, Amravati), Odia Journalism, Malyalam Journalism, Marathi Journalism & Urdu Journalism.
This year the total no. of applicants were 5345 out of which 4599 appeared for the entrance exam. The first merit list contains the name of 464 candidates from all the courses. This year, there was no interview and group discussion round for admission to PG diploma programmes offered by the institute. Thus, the IIMC merit list 2021 has been prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination and choice of courses filled in the application form.
How to check the IIMC merit list 2021?
• Visit the official website – iimc.gov.in.
• Click on the ‘IIMC Merit List 2021’ tab.
• The IIMC merit list will be displayed on the screen.
• Now, candidates can go through the merit list to see if they have been shortlisted or not.
The First Merit list of IIMC 2021 contains the details like the name and roll number of the candidate, category, and the name of the programme. Shortlisted candidates have to confirm their admission by remitting the required fee within the stipulated time. If candidates fail to pay the admission fee before the deadline, they might lose their claim for the admission.
IIMC entrance exam 2021 was conducted for enrolling students to 8 PG diploma programmes in advertising and public relations, radio and TV journalism, English journalism, Hindi journalism, Odia journalism, Marathi journalism, Malayalam journalism and Urdu journalism.
IIMC 2021 admission started on July 20 with the release of application forms for all PG diploma programmes. The last date to fill and submit the IIMC application form 2021 was August 15. The IIMC 2021 admit card was released on August 22. The IIMC 2021 entrance exam was conducted on August 29, in computer based mode. Second merit list is accepted to be announced on 27th September, 2021.
