IIMC has become the country’s Best Government Media Education Institute ; Ranked No. 1 in ‘Outlook-ICARE 2021’
New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi has been adjudged the Best Government Media Education Institute in the country in the field of journalism and mass communication in the ‘Outlook-ICARE Ranking 2021’ of the country’s prestigious magazine Outlook.
Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi, Director General of the Institute, stated that it is a source of tremendous pleasure for the IIMC family.With the guidance and support of the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Anurag Thakur and the Chairman of the Institute, Shri Amit Khare, the Institute has been successful in setting standards of academic quality. He said that due to the tireless efforts of all the professors, officers and employees of IIMC, we are at the first place in the field of media education. Earlier, IIMC was also adjudged the best media education institute in the country in India Today’s ‘Best College Survey’.
Giving information about the admission process for the academic session 2021-22, Prof. Dwivedi said that IIMC offers PG Diploma courses in Hindi Journalism, English Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Radio and Television Journalism, Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Urdu Journalism. The online application process for admission to these eight courses has started from July 20, 2021. The last date for submission of application form is August 9, 2021. The entrance exam will be conducted on August 29. The exam result will be declared on September 10. The online application form is available on the website www.iimc.nta.ac.in.
