Citation can be considered as an acid test for research quality and personally I would like the institute to further scale-up new heights. It is indeed very satisfying to see the Institutes position or rank going up in all the ranking frameworks in the country as well as at global level. We are committed to making IIT Bhubaneswar a top-notch research hub locally, nationally and internationally” said Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar.
The Times Higher Education Young University Rankings apply the same methodology as the World University Rankings to assess research-intensive universities across all their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. However, the weightings are recalibrated to reflect the profile of missions of young universities. The performance indicators are grouped into five areas: teaching (the learning environment); research (volume, income and reputation); citations (research influence); international outlook (staff, students and research); and industry income (knowledge transfer).
