IIT Jodhpur and Futurense Unveil Cutting-Edge PG Diploma in Data Science and Engineering Tailored for the Era of Generative AI

New Delhi : Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) along with Futurense Technologies the “Godfather of Talent”, announce the launch of its cutting-edge hybrid Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Data Science and Engineering. This highly industry-oriented program is designed by top faculty at IIT Jodhpur, along with inputs from Global Professors of Practice, top CXOs, and practice heads of Data Science and Engineering, and will cover 35 academic credits.
The PG Diploma program provides students with a unique opportunity to become an IITian, earn the prestigious IIT Alumni status and an exclusive direct pathway towards an IIT-J M.Tech Degree program.
The 12-month intensive PG Diploma program will include 300+ learning hours through live online classes from prestigious IIT Jodhpur faculty and masterclasses from top industry experts, along with a 30-day campus immersion, which translates to approximately 10 days in each trimester. The program will give students a blend of academic and conceptual learning for a total of 35 academic credits, providing students with the right exposure to real world and futuristic applications of Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering and Data Engineering across domains.
Commencing from August 1, 2023, the first of its kind that addresses competencies such as autoML, Assistive AI, increasing scalability and commercialization of ML Solutions, in a single program. The curriculum is designed to cater to the rapidly evolving business and organizational needs for Data Science and Engineering. This program aims to hone high-end demand skills in Big Data, Data Engineering on Cloud, MLOps, Machine Learning, and AI along with an opportunity to work on real-world projects, enabling learners to apply their learning in practical scenarios.

The PG Diploma in Data Science and Engineering is designed for those who want to pursue a high-growth career in data field, either in data science, machine learning or data engineering. The program is open to individuals with at least 2 years of experience in programming, software, or technology domain. To be eligible for the program, applicants must be a graduate from a 4 year degree program: B. Tech in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science or a BSc plus master’s degree in science, Math, or a relevant discipline, or an MCA with a minimum of 60% marks in UG/PG or a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 is necessary, with corresponding proportional requirements when the scales are other than 10.
IIT-Jodhpur & Futurense have begun inviting applications for the program and have a rigorous selection process where the candidates will be evaluated based on their academic and work experiences on a first come first serve basis. Clearing the screening test is a prerequisite to getting enrolled in the program. Post selection, enrolled applicants will be given a fully sponsored Futurense Bridge Course covering the foundations of the program. On successful completion of the Diploma program, the candidates will become an IIT Jodhpur PG Diploma Graduate, obtain an IIT alumni status, and can transfer their credits towards the IIT-J M.Tech Program without any test or screening.
