IIT Jodhpur signs MoU with University at Buffalo on “IIT-UB joint Center of Excellence in “Artificial Intelligence and Data Science”

JODHPUR : Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Buffalo on IIT_UB joint Center of Excellence in ‘Artificial Intelligence and Data Science’. The team of UB Professors visited IIT Jodhpur on 19 March 2023 for discussion on multiple collaborative projects involving Faculty Members of IIT Jodhpur of various disciplines and signing of MoU for a joint centre. The MoU was signed between Prof. Santanu Chaudhury, Director, IIT Jodhpur and Prof. A. Scott Weber on behalf of the University at Buffalo.

The aim of the center is to advance long-term multi-institutional and international collaboration in educational and research fields that are compatible with the orientation and mission of each institution, and that are relevant to the academic, scientific, industrial, social, and cultural interests and needs of both the countries. Also, there will be exchange of the Students and Faculty Members for Research purposes.
