IIT Ropar to organize, ‘Advitiya’ its first Techno-Management Festival

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar to organize its first edition of the annual Techno-Management Festival “Advitiya” which will be a 3-day event starting from 22nd to 24th March, 2017. The event will be inaugurated by an esteemed guest, Mr. Tapan Misra – Director/Distinguished Scientist of ISRO applications center and will also be graced by the presence of Mr. Varun Agarwal, an entrepreneur, Co-founder – Alma Mater. The festival will be spanning for more than 60 hours of intense competitions and fun events.

Advitiya will witness a wide range of scientific and technical activities and novel events on the most upcoming trending fields such as Coding, Robotics, Finance, Design and Entrepreneurship with prizes worth as high as 4 lakh Rupees. The event will be attended by many experts in the field of technology.

The fest will open up new platforms to showcase the talents from not only colleges, but also for students and companies, as they will get an opportunity to do Technical Exhibition and Open Day where in, all the state-of- art labs and cutting edge research infrastructure will be open to display for all the students and companies visiting the institute.

Since its inception, IIT Ropar has climbed its way up the ladder to become 9th best technical institute in the country by Ministry of Human Resource Development in its National Institute Ranking Framework and has been marching steadily towards making a global presence with its cutting-edge research facilities and one of a kind UG program.

The last day of the fest will be concluded with a splendid, comedy night starring Sahil Shah of EIC Comedy and Rahul Subramanian. The fest has already received entries across the country and is showing a promising future towards becoming the most sought after technical festival in India.
