National, 25th November 2021: In a major development, Imarticus Learning, India’s frontrunning professional education firm, is strengthening its senior leadership team. The platform has onboarded Sridhar Nagarajachar as the Executive Director and CEO for its Online Business division.

Imarticus Learning has already established itself as the market leader in the Retail Centre-based classroom learning model with industry-leading learning and placement outcomes in Finance, Technology, and Analytics domains. The latest hiring comes on the back of the firm’s plans to build a robust online business vertical that addresses the learning requirements across India and Imarticus Learning’s chosen global markets in its core domains of expertise.

With a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from NIT Surathkal and an MBA from FMS, Delhi, Sridhar has worked with various distinguished organizations, including Goldman Sachs, Capgemini Consulting, Pearson, Manipal Global, Times Group and SRM Group. Over his 13-year-long career, he has held senior leadership roles at multiple companies and has been instrumental in driving their growth. At Imarticus Learning, Sridhar will be in charge of the Profit and Loss segment of the Online Business vertical and help steer the platform towards achieving its goals.

In the Online Business segment, Imarticus Learning aims to drive growth by 10X from its current state by 2025 and empower 100,000 learners to achieve their aspirations. The firm also looks to be the largest new age programs portfolio owning ed-tech in the industry domestically. Having already launched 9 new programs in the last 6 months, Imarticus Learning further plans to introduce 12 more programs in the next 6 months.

Speaking on the new appointment, Mr. Nikhil Barshikar, Founder and MD of Imarticus Learning, said, “Imarticus Learning has been clocking rapid growth, and we are aggressively expanding our course portfolio as well as our business. Over the next 3-5 years, we plan on making our Online Business model equivalent to our classroom learning model, and our strategic goals are aligned with this plan. To achieve these, while staying rooted to our core values – quality at scale, profitable growth by positive impact, and learner-driven experiences with tech-led outcomes, we are pleased to welcome Sridhar Nagarajachar as our Executive Director and CEO for our Online Business. An accomplished professional with a proven track record, we are confident that his strategic style of working will elevate Imarticus Learning towards greater heights.”

“I am thrilled to be a part of a distinguished platform such as Imarticus Learning in the next phase of my career. My plans for Imarticus Learning in the coming years include building a robust Online Business model and ensuring the firm is able to scale faster and remain profitable as always throughout my journey. I look forward to working closely with the team to jointly achieve these goals,” added Sridhar Nagarajachar.

Having grown 4x each quarter in the past 2 quarters alone with the pandemic’s tailwinds, Imarticus Learning has set its sights on closing the current year with at least 3x growth as opposed to the previous FY. To scale the business swiftly, the platform will reach outward for high-quality industry-academia partnerships and aggregate top academic and industry brands to expand our category presence with co-designed and co-delivered programs. Imarticus Learning already has 6 premium academic degree partners in strategic locations and 3 premium Corporate partners with national appeal. It plans to double this partner count by the end of this year, including the addition of top global academic and industry partners.

Furthermore, Imarticus Learning will be launching capability training programs covering almost all of its employees. The programs are designed to identify young leaders across the cadres of the organization and transform them into emerging leaders and then to future leaders. And finally, the platform will augment its external placement ecosystem of hiring partners and internal career service capabilities further to deliver assured career outcomes to its learners across mid-career and late-career stages. Imarticus Learning’s core focus will be on building the workforce of the future equipped with new-age career skills relevant to Industry 4.0.
