IMS DIA empowers 100 underprivileged women through 30-Day embroidery and stitching CSR program – KARIGARI
Noida- IMS Design and Innovation Academy (IMS DIA) is pleased to announce a transformative 30-day programme aimed at empowering 100 underprivileged women with valuable skills in embroidery and stitching. As a part IMS DIA’s CSR activities, the programme is organized in collaboration with brand “Shilpi Gupta,” and supported by Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs India (COWE) and SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India)
This month-long workshop culminating on April 30th, 2024 will provide participants with hands-on experience in various types of embroidery techniques and stitching methods. Under the IMS DIA’s faculty and expert guidance, participants will have the opportunity to learn and master traditional as well as contemporary embroidery styles, enhancing their craft and fostering creativity.

Through this programme, we aim to empower underprivileged women by equipping them with valuable skills that can open doors to economic independence and self-sufficiency,” said Shilpi Gupta, Chairperson of IMS DIA.
The workshop underscores IMS DIA’s dedication to empowering women and fostering entrepreneurship. Teaming up with “Shilpi Gupta,” a brand renowned for its quality and craftsmanship, IMS DIA ensures participants receive high-quality training and guidance in embroidery and stitching, empowering them to pursue independent avenues of income generation.

In addition to practical training sessions, the workshop will also include interactive sessions on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and market access, conducted by experts from COWE and SIDBI. Participants will receive certificates upon completion of the workshop, acknowledging their dedication and achievement.
