IMS Ghaziabad Organized FDP on “Achieving Excellence in Outcome Based Education System through Pedagogical Innovations” by Global Expert

Ghaziabad: Carrying forward its numerous initiatives for professional development of its faculty team, IMS Ghaziabad, under the leadership of Director, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, organized a vital Faculty Development Program on “Achieving Excellence in Outcome Based Education System through Pedagogical Innovations” on September 20, 2022.

The Expert Resource Speaker for the session was Mr. Ashish Patel, Managing Director, CxO Advisory, Morgan Franklin Consulting, USA. In her Inaugural Address, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, emphasized that the rich insights by Mr. Patel, who has rich international & national experience in diverse domains to his credit, will be instrumental in enhancing the intellectual quotient of the faculty fraternity of the institute and enable them to initiate more experimentation in their classroom delivery. Emphasizing on the importance of interaction & student engagement, Mr. Ashish Patel inspired the faculty to be leaders in their classes rather than mere teachers. Dwelling upon examples from the ongoing Global Talk Series in the Institute, he shared many innovative pedagogical methods such as Flipped Classroom, Peer Learning, Blended Learning, SOLE (Self Organized Learning Environment) and many more.

Coordinated by Dr. Radhika Malhotra, the FDP enhanced the problem solving, critical thinking and solution oriented approach and was instrumental in strengthening the intellectual quotient of the faculty fraternity of the institute.
