IMS Ghaziabad organized Value-Added Certification Program on “Advanced Microsoft Office”

Ghaziabad: IMS Ghaziabad organized a 12 hours Value-Added Certification Program on “Advanced Microsoft Office” on September 29-30, 2021. The Phase II of the program will be conducted on October 8-12, 2021. The training program was conducted as part of the ‘Skill Enhancement & Corporate Readiness’, an initiative undertaken by the institute with the objective to improve the corporate readiness and employability of the PGDM students.

In her Inaugural address, Director, Dr. Urvashi Makkar, emphasized to the students the critical need to continuously enhance their existing skill sets in accordance with the needs of

the market.

She also highlighted that mastering MS Office is necessary for survival in all business domains. The expert trainer from Microsoft, Mr. Lavish Arora, covered many important topics such as formatting Excel Workbook, performing calculations, sorting and filtering data etc. The training program, coordinated by Dr. Surabhi Singh, Chief Coordinator, Value-Added Certification Programs, and Coordinator, Dr. Pushpender Kumar, enabled the students to enhance their technical knowledge on various Microsoft tools and prepared them for challenging management and analytical roles with their MS credential.
