IMS Ghaziabad organized Workshop on “Choosing the Right Specialization for Getting the Right Placement”

Ghaziabad: IMS Ghaziabad organized a Workshop on “Choosing the Right Specialization for Getting the Right Placement” for PGDM Batch 2021-23 on March 02-03, 2022.

The workshop was envisioned to make the budding managers aware about the various specialization courses offered by the institute and guide them to opt for the specializations based on their future goals. In her Inaugural address, Director, Dr. Urvashi Makkar highlighted that the workshop would be instrumental in sowing seeds in the minds of the students as to which specialization they must opt for in order to realize their future goals. Inspiring the young minds, she emphasized that the scale and height of success of any individual is dependent on the efforts put up by her/him on daily basis.

Critical information on the scope, skill sets, job profiles and other relevant aspects of the respective domains was shared by Area Chairpersons of Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations, and Business Analytics & Information Technology.

To enable the students to identify their gap areas and work on them, the Corporate Resource Centre of the institute shared the feedback of the recruiters with respect to the skill sets required in the prospective candidates for Summer Internships and final Placements. Coordinated by Dr. Abhishek Singh Bhushan & Ms. Satakshi Agarwal and compered by Aakriti Sadana & Digvijay Singh, the interactive session enabled the students to imbibe the learnings and take an informed decision before taking the final plunge.
