IMS Ghaziabad Successfully Organized AICTE Sponsored National Conference “NCETADI 2022”on May 20-21, 2022

Ghaziabad: In line with its endeavors for academic excellence through research and innovation, IMS Ghaziabad organized the prestigious AICTE sponsored National Conference on “Emerging Technologies in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Internet of Things (NCETADI-22)” on May 20-21, 2022 under the patronage of Shri Naresh Agarwal, Chairman, IMS Group of Institutions; Shri.

Nitin Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Governing Body, IMS Ghaziabad and leadership of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad. An audience of over 500 delegates, participants, distinguished guests, students, media representatives, faculty and staff members of various institutes benefitted from the sessions.

Addressing the audience, Dr. Urvashi Makkar highlighted that though 80% jobs in the coming decade will revolve around key areas of AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning, yet the youngsters must never forget the uniqueness of human intelligence. As shared by her “Always remember that there is no substitute for human intellect, empathy, values, compassion, enthusiasm; Human Intelligence should be the driving force behind Artificial Intelligence and not vice versa, try to strike a right balance between the two”.

The conference witnessed the luminous presence of Chief Guest, Mr. Anupam Gupta, Vice President, Global Analytics, UHG (United Health Group); Distinguished Expert Speaker, Dr. Prabal Pratap, Scientist & Dy. Director, Information Security, DRDO Ministry of Defence, Kanpur and many leading names from industry and academia in the Inaugural & Plenary Session on Day I.

The Plenary Session on the theme “Intelligent Computing and Innovation on Data Science” held on Day II was graced by insightful deliberations by Chief Guest, Mr. Gurveen Singh Rekhi, Director- Data Analytics, Sunlife and Distinguished Expert Speakers, Mr. Sushil Kumar Agarwal, Chairman & Director, AVRO Furniture and Mr. Shubham Tripathi, Lead, Zee Media. Best Paper Awards were presented for each Technical Session enriched with inputs from many corporate and academic stalwarts as Session Chairpersons & Co Chairpersons. An exclusive session was dedicated to presentation by students.
