IMS Noida Celebrated Virtual International women’s day

 

Noida: Institute of Management Studies Noida (IMS) organized a virtual Women’s day celebration. On this occasion IMS Noida honored Kirti Singh, Prof. Ekta Jha, Mini Verma, Prof. Deepa Rani, Shweta, Prof. Meenu Chaudhary and Dr. Prachi Aggarwal for working on keeping women’s values in mind during the epidemic crisis . Dean of IMS Prof. (Dr .) Manju Gupta was awarded the title of Power Woman on behalf of Lead India Foundation and World Book Records.

On the occasion of Women’s Day, the increasing impact of female dehumanization on social media was also discussed by IMS Law College.

On this special day Dr. Kulneet Suri , Senior Director congratulated all the teachers and girls working in the institute. She said that “I always say a woman alone has power, but collectively we have an impact.” The truth is that raising each other up and channelizing the power of collaboration is truly how we’ll change the equation—is truly how we can CHOOSE TO CHALLENGE OURSELVES & THE SOCIETY and it is truly how we can impact the WORLD to be a better place to LIVE”.

She further added,In the past, there have been some talented women who had kept the dignity of human values during the epidemic crisis. Today, on this special day, we are making ourselves proud by honoring them.

Dean of IMS Noida Prof. (Dr.) Manju Gupta expressed her happiness and said that it is an achievement for all of us that the Lead India Foundation and the World Book Record took the initiative to set a world record by recognizing 111 Power Woman in 111 minutes.

At the same time while discussing the increasing impact of the dehumanization of women on social media, Prof (Dr.) KS Bhati initiated the discussion by saying that Indian culture has been well known and honors women in terms of respect. Further, he added that the UN Charter and the Constitution of India have also given fundamental rights to ensure respect and equality of women.
