IMS Noida plans model United Nations Conference’22
Noida: Institute of Management Studies, Law department is organizing a two-day Model United Nations (MUN) Conference- an interdepartmental event. The fest has been named IMS LAW MUNC’22. The conferences are academic simulations of the UN where students perform as delegates of different countries and discuss various global issues while elaborating on the policies and perspectives of the respective countries. It helps students to develop skills like leadership, public speaking, research, and writing.
The fest involves three exciting committees with sparkling agendas and an insightful executive board such as the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM), United Nations Human Rights Commission (UNHRC), and International Press. There are other categories for International Press for the event which include Journalists, Caricaturists, Photography, and Videography. The participated students will get cash prizes and certificates in the concerned applied category of the competition.
While organizing the MUN Conference 22, Senior Director of IMS Noida, Dr Kulneet Suri said, “We are always concerned about the cognitive skill development and Emotional Intelligence growth of our students and therefore we come up with new strategies and ideas to help them make effective decisions. This year IMS Noida planned an interesting concept which is called-1st edition of the Model United Nation Conference wherein many activities have been infused to develop the skills of the students, it will motivate students to showcase their talent in their area of interest and understand the importance of skills development.”
