IMS organized Lecture on Innovative Marketing Strategy
New Delhi: The Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida organized a lecture on “New Marketing Strategy in Competitive Era”. The lecture aim is to provide an insight about what are the major expected changes in marketing strategies? and how students can cope with this situation. The lecture was graced by Ranu Jain, guest speaker, Regional Sales Manager (North-1 UP) of Parle Biscuits Private Limited. During the program, IMS President Rajeev Kumar Gupta, Senior Director Dr. Kulneet Suri, Dean Dr. Manju Gupta, HOD Neerja Anand along with teachers and students of the institute registered their presence.
Inaugurating the program, Ranu Jain stated that marketing strategy is a long-term, forward-looking approach and an overall game plan of any organization, In this global pandemic the strategies adopted by Parle Biscuits Limited is an example of innovative marketing strategy. Due to which the company has recorded the best sales ever in the last 8 decades. He said that for any organization is hard to achieve its goal in difficult times, all we need is a strong team with efficient leadership quality. Problems keep on going, so to strengthen the organization it is necessary to have strong willpower and organized workers with the right guidelines that motivates the team to provide good output.
Dr. Manju Gupta said that it is important for students to periodically review the product and market. He said that during the competition, new products come in the market, out of which some keep their place. At the same time, others are unable to satisfy consumers due to their wrong market policy and other reasons. At the same time, the head of the department of BBA Prof. Neerja Anand said that students need to learn about the promotion of any product and the barricades of its placement for a long time.
