In a first, 4 Top CEOs to Come Together and Grace IIM Kozhikode’s 26th Annual Convocation
Kozhikode: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode is gearing up for its 26th Annual Convocation which is scheduled for 13th April, 2024. This time four top corporate leaders from Private as well as Public conglomerates will be gracing the annual convocation of the No. 3rd Ranked Premium Business School in India. The 26th Annual Convocation will be conducted in two sessions.
The morning session will witness students from IIM Kozhikode’s Doctoral Programme in Management for Working Executives (PhD – Practise Track), Executive Post Graduate Programme – Interactive Leaning Mode (Kozhikode Campus) and Executive Post Graduate Programme Kochi Campus being conferred with their degrees. Mr. Hari Menon Co-Founder & CEO, BigBasket will be the Chief Guest for the function, joined by Mr. Debashis Chatterjee CEO & Managing Director, LTIMindtree.
The second Convocation Session scheduled for the evening will confer degrees to the regular full-time students from the DPM (PhD), flagship PGP, PGP-BL, PGP-Finance and PGP-LSM. Ms. Geetika Mehta, Managing Director, Nivea India will preside over the function with Mr. Amarendu Prakash, Chairman, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) as the Guest of Honour.
Shri. A. Vellayan, Chairperson, Board of Governors (BoG) IIM Kozhikode, Members of the BoG and Director IIM Kozhikode Prof. Debashis Chatterjee will also be present for the mega-ceremonial function which will also celebrate IIM Kozhikode’s stellar rise to the Top 3 B-Schools in India in 2023.
Announcing the Guests for IIM Kozhikode’s 26th Annual Convocation, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee added “This annual convocation marks the beginning of the next-chapter in IIM Kozhikode’s pursuit of its institutional mission of ‘Globalizing Indian Thought’ by 2047! Over the next 25 years IIM Kozhikode aspires to help India re-write global world order by creating the next generation of thought leaders. We are privileged to have crème de la crème of the top corporate and public sector companies in India to share their wisdom with our graduating students and inspire the next generation of leaders.”
Renowned Indian playback singer and film score composer Hariharan will also be performing at the pre-convocation evening Cultural night at the IIM Kozhikode Campus.
