In-House Students’ Research Convention’ at AMU from October 10 to 12

Aligarh: A three-day ‘In-House Students’ Research Convention’ of the Innovation Council and University Incubation Centre, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will be held from October 10 to 12 to foster open-minded scientific temper—ready to welcome new light, knowledge, experiments and innovative ideas.

“In the convention, AMU students and research scholars in the fields of Agriculture; Health Sciences and Allied Subjects such as Pharmacy, Nutrition, etc; Engineering and Technology, Basic Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce Management, Law, International Studies and Theology are invited to give their project proposals and submit their abstracts in not more than 500 words at [email protected] till September 27”, said Prof S Imtiaz Hasnain (Chairman, Innovation Council and University Incubation Centre).

Prof Sajjad Athar (Coordinator, Innovation Council and University Incubation Centre) informed: “Project proposals will be accepted from individuals and groups of not more than three students. A notification of acceptance will be issued on October 3 and the selected students will make 10- minute powerpoint presentations from October 10 to 12”.

Mementoes and cash prizes of Rs 4000 to the winner and Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 to the respective second and third place holders will be awarded in the Sir Syed Celebrations ceremony on October 17.
