Inauguration of Sai Naari Abhilasha Foundation by Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh

 

New Delhi: Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, launched the “Sai Nari Abhilasha Foundation “-Life Women Empowerment Centre, on the occasion of Women’s Day. The inauguration ceremony was performed by the hon’ble Chief Guest , Smt.Bandana Kumari, M.L.A. Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. Additional SHO , Shalimar Bagh also graced the occasion with his benign presence .

This foundation is an initiative of Modern Public School to uplift the lives of underprivileged women by providing them with access to education and skill development.

The eight specialised courses offered by the Sai Nari Abhilasha Foundation to women are Data Entry Operator, Front Desk Officer, Graphic Designing, Make-up,Pickle Making,Stitching, Nail-Art, and Heena-Art.The Centre will provide training to women in various areas to make them proficient. Opportunities will be provided to these women trainees to sell their products and make them earn their livelihood. This attempt will make them self-sufficient in building their own careers.

Bandana Kumari, M.L.A. Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi.

Mrs. Alka Kapur, Principal, Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh, commented, “Women are the world’s wings, and they deserve to be treated with the same respect as their male counterparts. I’m honoured to be a part of such a wonderful foundation, and I’m excited to see more women become skilled and independent. We are currently providing a platform for women to learn and progress, but we will do our best to provide some outstanding job opportunities in near future for them.”

According to MPS, Women empowerment is critical to the health and socio-economic development of families, communities, and countries. Women can attain their greatest potential when they live in a safe, joyful, and productive environment.
