India Accelerator joins hands with Anant National University to launch Swaastha – a Healthcare Accelerator in Gujarat
India Accelerator – India’s leading fund-led accelerator with Global Accelerator Network has made a significant leap in nurturing healthcare startups with the launch of an exclusive healthcare acceleration program – Swaastha, in partnership with Aarambh Incubation Centre at Anant National University in Gujarat, the launch of which is planned to be held on 29th June at the university premises in Ahmedabad.
Designed as a dedicated accelerator program, Swaastha aims to empower startups incubated in Aarambh Incubation Centre with a 12-weeks program, followed by a Demo Day for fundraising and networking opportunities.
Commenting on the launch of Swaastha Accelerator, Arindam Mukhopadhyay -Partner & Head of Corporate Innovation at India Accelerator said, “We are thrilled to take a transformative step in the healthcare startup ecosystem. IA’s latest initiative will equip startups with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the dynamic health tech landscape through extensive capacity-building sessions. Each session will be led by industry experts to equip startups with need-based expert guidance, and necessary tools for product development, regulatory aspects and deployment support. In addition, IA will help startups catalyse innovation and entrepreneurial excellence by providing market and investor access to scale startups’ growth.
The program provides startups with an opportunity to raise funds and network with potential Investors. Startups across stages and domains can become a part of the program with key focus areas including Drug Discovery & Development; Digital Health & Well-being solutions; New Generation Diagnostics; and Last Mile Delivery, Optical Dispensing, Genome Sequencing, IVF, Fetal and Neonatal Monitoring and AI-Driven Prognosis, Diagnosis, and Interventions.

These participants will be able to extract knowledge and wisdom of experts from the entire realm of healthcare ecosystem right from practicing doctors to business leads, technical experts from design, technology and manufacturing and finally to logistics and marketing. I would not miss it as an entrepreneur for anything,” said Prof. Milind Chitale, Director- Maker Space Associate Professor at Anant National University.
Recognised as the first DesignX University in India, Anant National University’s pedagogy encourages students to build a revolutionary mindset and cultivate a habit of seeking solutions to local and global problems by applying knowledge of various domains to their designs. Its dedicated incubation centre – Aarambh, supported by the Student Startup & Innovation Policy (SSIP) of the Government of Gujarat helps young innovators to prototype their ideas.
