India International Centre to Screen ‘Sri Aurobindo: Beginning of a Spiritual Journey’ on His 152nd Birth Anniversary
New Delhi : In commemoration of the 152nd birth anniversary of the eminent philosopher and spiritual leader Sri Aurobindo Ghose, the India International Centre (IIC) is set to organize a special screening of the film ‘Sri Aurobindo: Beginning of a Spiritual Journey.’ The event will take place on August 14, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the C.D. Deshmukh Auditorium. The screening will be introduced by the film’s producer-director, Suraj Kumar.
The film, which delves into a pivotal chapter in Sri Aurobindo’s life, focuses on his arrest on May 5, 1908, and the subsequent year he spent in Alipore Jail during the infamous ‘Alipore Bomb Case’ trial.
