INDIAN AMBASSADOR TO GHANA AND BHU VICE-CHANCELLOR HOLD DISCUSSIONS ON EDUCATIONAL COLLABORATIONS WITH GHANIAN INSTITUTIONS

VARANASI : Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir K Jain and Indian High Commissioner to Ghana H.E. Mr. Sugandh Rajaram today held discussion on enhancing collaboration between BHU and Ghanian educational institutions. One of the areas of discussion was having more number of Ghanian students coming to Banaras Hindu University for studies and research. The visit of Indian ambassador to Ghana to BHU assumes significance in the run up to the proposed visit of Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong, Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Ghana, to BHU in the month of October this year. University of Cape Coast is among the leading and prestigious universities of Ghana. The ambassador was accompanied by his wife and Indian ambassador to Angola H.E. Mrs. Pratibha Parkar and their daughter. Prof. N V Chalapathi Rao, coordinator, international collaborations, BHU, was also present during the discussions.
