Hyderabad: In the current world it has become a challenge for foreign nationals to gain a permanent residency in the United States. It has been more tightened after recent changes with the VISA rules from the new American President, Mr. Donald Trump.

EB-5 visas are the best answer for enterprising Indians as one qualified investment can result in a green card for the applicants, their spouses and children under 21 years of age added Bhaskar Dulam.

The aspirants going through the EB-5 program must meet specific United States Citizenship and Immigration (USCIS) requirements to obtain their permanent residency.

The investor must meet capital investment amount $500,000 or $1 million capital investment amount into a U.S. commercial enterprise. They need to create ten jobs for the US Citizens, to get qualified for the EB-5 program. EB-5 visa applicants, their spouse, and their children under 21 will obtain their permanent residency green card once all requirements have been successfully met and approved by the USCIS, added Bhaskar Dulam.

Under EB-5 program conditional Green Card will be issued within 15-18 months after submitting applications and making the investments. If visa conditions are met in two years, then the permanent green card will be issued after two years. A green card-holder can apply for US citizenship after five years. “The US government is also concerned about employment opportunities this program generates.
