Indian Institute of Management, Bodh Gaya, is geared up to host PRotathlitís
Bodh Gaya : The Indian Institute of Management, Bodh Gaya, is geared up to host PRotathlitís, a nationwide competition for all management students in a virtual avatar. In its upcoming maiden edition, PRotathlitís has seen participation from 900+ B-School students all over the country.
PRotathlitís, which means ‘Champion’ in Greek is a competition for management students, across reputed B-schools in the country, willing to test their business acumen, and problem-solving skills. The true essence of a management education is to not only learn management theories but also develop one’s networking, leadership, ethics, teamwork, and communication skills. Case study competitions, live projects, research, internships, and others are an inseparable part of a holistic management curriculum. Through PRotathlitís, IIM Bodh Gaya aims to give students of various B-schools a unique learning experience of different domains of management.
The winners will be rewarded with exciting cash prizes worth INR 50,000. As part of the event, Campus Ambassadors (CA) from various B-Schools across the country will be appointed. The event has already seen 19,000+ views on the CA program and 3,50,000 + views on registration for PRotathlitís on the Dare2Compete platform.
The event will be conducted in three rounds through the second fortnight of December 2020. The first qualifier round, will be a quiz held on the D2C platform on 13th December. It will check the acumen of students in the domains of strategy, finance, and marketing and will help enhance an understanding of core management concepts along with their practical applications. The Media & PR Cell of IIM Bodh Gaya which is organizing the event, has already conducted PRoQuiz; a preparatory round that guided the participants through the types of questions that they can expect on the 13th.
The second round will start on 15th December with the release of the problem statement. In this round, the qualified participants will be required to submit a four-slide presentation within 6 days, of their respective solutions. The criteria for assessment will include among others, research, uniqueness of ideas, and its feasibility.
The third and final round will be conducted on 26th December 2020. The top ten teams to qualify will be shortlisted to present their proposed solution in front of an esteemed panel of judges comprising, Mr. Vijay Parthasarathy, Founder CEO, InTouch Consulting. In, Dr. Priyavrat Sanyal, Faculty of Marketing at IIM Bodh Gaya and Dr. Soumyajyoti Banerjee, Faculty of Communication at IIM Bodh Gaya. We are also very proud to host Mr. Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi, Senior Head-Digital Skills, Innovation, Industry Partnership & CSR National Skill Development Corporation, India as our keynote speaker for the event, who will enlighten us on the topic, Digital Skilling and Innovation.
Each team will be given sufficient time to make their presentation which will be followed by a Q&A session. Each team will be evaluated on their industry knowledge, the rigor of research, and feasibility of their implementation plan. The winner will be announced after the event over email.
