Indian Institute of Management Indore, Times Professional Learning Launch Executive Programme in Operations & Supply Chain Management

Designed for working professionals, the Executive Programme in Operations & Supply Chain Management will enhance efficiency, productivity and develop an understanding of the role of operations & supply chain for managers through technological intervention and modern mechanisms.

 

Indore: Times Professional Learning (TPL), under its brand Times TSW, has launched the Executive Programme in Operations & Supply Chain Management (EPOSCM) in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Management Indore. The EPOSCM aims to build efficiency for businesses in delivering products and services effectively by imparting knowledge and incorporating structured and standardised processes to manage operations of the supply chain through innovative solutions aided by technology.
The Indian Institute of Management Indore, ranked sixth by the National Institutional Ranking Framework, specially developed the programme for working professionals to build capabilities and skilled human resources for the fast-booming supply chain sector. The programme that will commence its first batch will enable learners to get exposed to technological advancements in the sector.
The estimated size of the Indian supply chain and logistics market is pegged at US$ 215 billion and has been growing at 10.7 CAGR. Recently, the Government of India announced the Gati Shakti initiative to fast-track the development of transportation and logistics infrastructure in the country. According to KPMG, the demand for e-commerce and direct-to-home business has accelerated due to tech-based advancements, is worth USD 44.6 billion and is projected to reach USD 100 billion by 2025. With impressive growth on the anvil, it is pertinent that senior managers and executives would need to expand their skill sets in several ways for better preparedness during crisis and to ably conform to the technological developments associated with Industry 4.0.
The 12-month Executive Programme in Operations & Supply Chain Management will enable learners to harness their skills through in-campus immersive learning sessions and get exposed to subjects like Operations Strategy, Quality Management, Designing Supply Chain, Analytics and Emerging Trends in Operations & Supply Chain, among 14 modules imparted over Direct-2-Device (D2D) framework. The pedagogy will include lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, assignments, etc.

Applicants who have completed their graduation or post-graduation from universities recognised by the Association of Indian Universities and diploma (10+2+3) holders with at least 50 per cent marks along with a minimum of two years of work experience will be eligible for the course. The Applicants who complete the programme successfully will receive a certificate and the Executive Education Alumni Status of IIM Indore.
