Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli conducted a training program for the Enterprise Development Officer of the Vazhndhu Kattuvom Project.

Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli conducted a training program on “Business Financial Management” for the Enterprise Development Officers of the Rural Enterprise Ecosystem Development – Vazhndhu Kattuvom Project (formerly Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project – TNRTP). The training program was organized from 17th May to 19th May 2023. The training program covered wide-ranging topics such as Financial Statements and cost Analysis, Legal and Compliance Contracts, Value Proposition and Business Model Canvas, Basics of Marketing, and Evaluating a bank proposal.

Prof. V Gopal and Prof. Nithyananda K V were the Programme Directors. The programme was inaugurated by Ms. J. E. Padmaja, I.A.S., Chief Operating Officer – Project Management, and Prof. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director – IIM. Tiruchirappalli. Ms. J. E. Padmaja mentioned the Tamil Nadu Government’s focus on the capacity building of its employees. She asked the participants to utilize the training and enhance their knowledge capacity. The Director thanked Tamil Nadu Government for engaging IIM. Tiruchirappalli in the training of its employees.

Thirty-nine participants attended and completed the training program on 19th May 2023.
