Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli Successfully completes Final Placements of PGP 2021-23 and Summer Placements of PGP 2022-24

New Delhi: It is with great pride that IIM Tiruchirappalli announces the successful completion of the Placement season for the academic year 2022-23 for both Summer Placements (Batch of 2022-24) and Final Placements (Batch of 2021-23) of the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) and Post-Graduate Programme in Human Resources (PGPM-HR). This academic year, the institute witnessed a historic placements season with a significant jump in the median packages in both summer and final placements. The sustained efforts of the various stakeholders of the institute, coupled with the diverse educational and work experience background of the talent pool, have made IIM Tiruchirappalli a preferred destination for recruiters across sectors.

 

Final Placements: PGPM & PGPM HR 2021-23

IIM Tiruchirappalli made its mark among the country’s leading B Schools by achieving 100% placements for its 11th batch of PGPM and the 2nd batch of PGPM-HR by nurturing a diverse talent pool and strengthening the trust of our recruiters. A total of more than 127 companies participated in the Final Placements for PGPM 2021-2023 batch, extending 266 offers. 45 companies participated in the Final Placements for PGPM HR 2021-2023 batch, extending 24 offers. There was a thirteen percent increase in the number of companies visiting for final placements compared to the last year.

The average annual compensation for final placements of the PGPM batch stood at ₹20.55 Lakhs, with a rise of 21% compared to last year. The highest compensation of the batch was ₹41.61 Lakhs. The average for the PGPM HR batch increased by 19% to ₹15.82 Lakhs, and the highest package was ₹23 Lakhs.

 

Summer Placements: PGPM & PGPM HR 2022-24
A total of 147 companies participated in the summer placement process. They made 331 offers for roles across various Sales & Marketing, Finance, Consulting, IT & Analytics, Operations, and HR domains. The average stipend stood at ₹ 1,29,000/- with the highest stipend at ₹ 3,20,000 for PGPM. The average and highest stipend figures for PGPM HR stood at ₹ 84,000/- and ₹ 2,00,000/-, respectively. The institute saw a 27% increase in the number of companies visiting for summer placements, reinforcing IIM Tiruchirappalli’s position as one of the premier business schools in the country.
