New Delhi: The leading institute has announced the launch of a new 11-month programme targeted towards graduates and young professionals who wish to explore careers as managers in the services sector across marketing, human resources and operational verticals.
Founded by hospitality veteran and former Managing Director of Starwood Hotels & Resorts South Asia, Dilip Puri, the emerging institute has since successfully gone on to break admissions records since it opened its doors in 2018. The institute is known for its strong backing by the hospitality industry and has global executives from leading international corporations as part of its Advisory Council.
The programme will have its first intake in July, 2020 with limited seats of 30. Students will be taught by the institute’s Swiss trained, qualified learning facilitator faculty for 6 months, before undergoing industry immersion placements with India’s leading names in the services sector.
Dilip Puri, Founder & CEO, ISH, commented on the launch, “We’re indeed very excited to be offering this postgrad program which is created by working closely with the industry with employability in mind. We’ve created this programme working closely with the industry, to ensure each module and lesson reflects the needs of today’s employers and gives our graduates a promising boost to their career in some of our country’s most prosperous industries. We look forward to partnering with more brands in the future to train even higher numbers of talent.”
The aim of the programme is to give graduates from various disciplines a new professional profile to pursue rewarding careers across service operations, marketing and human resources within the services sector. At the same time, it seeks to provide much needed manpower to India’s booming hospitality and services sector which has been showing healthy growth over the last decade.
The admissions process for the programme is fully online, with applicants able to take a tour of the Indian School of Hospitality’s renowned new-age campus, sit in on online lectures as well as have one on one video counselling with the admissions team to find out more about the programme and career prospects.
