Indian students bag 244 awards in Cambridge exams 2018/19

New Delhi: Cambridge International has conferred an impressive 244Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards on Indian students. The global awards celebrate the highest performing students from over 40 countries in qualifications recognised around the world by leading universities and employers. Every year nearly a million students worldwide study courses organised by Cambridge International, which has been providing international exams for more than 160years.

In total, 207 studentsin Indiahave received the prestigious Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards for their exceptional performance inCambridge exams in 2018-2019.The awards recognise success in four categories – ‘Top in the World’, ‘Top in the Country’, High Achievement Award’ and ‘Best Across’.The number of award winners in India is much higher this year, compared to 173 winners in 2017-2018.

In total, 86students across India have won ‘Top in the World’ awards for achieving the highest marks in the world in a particular subject. Five of these ‘Top in the World’ awards have been bagged by students in Rajasthan —2 from Jaipur, 2 from Ajmer and 1 from Bhilwara. In total,12 students from Rajasthan have won awards in all four categories.The winners in Rajasthan are from Jayshree Periwal International School, the Mayoor School and the Sangam School of Excellence.
