New Delhi: Driving India’s Techade-D2M for Bharat – 5G Broadcast Summit will be organized by IIT Kanpur and Saankhya Labs on 16th January 2023 (Tuesday) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The summit aims to deliberate on concrete actions in promoting Direct-to-Mobile (D2M) broadcasting as a major disruption in the mobile broadcasting space. This groundbreaking indigenous technology is aligned with our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of making ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Make in India’ successful in driving India’s Technology landscape.
The summit will feature prominent civil servants like Shri Amitabh Kant (IAS), Sherpa G20 and former CEO, NITI Aayog, Shri Tarun Kapoor (IAS), Advisor, PMO, Shri Apurva Chandra (IAS), Secretary, Information & Broadcasting, GoI, Shri S. Krishnan, (IAS) Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, GoI, Shri Neeraj Mittal (IAS), Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, GoI and Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, GoI.
