IndiGo recognised as one of the top 25 safest workplaces by KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023
IndiGo, India’s leading carrier, has been recognised as one of the Top 25 Safest Workplaces in India by KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023. This is its second consecutive win after 2021 and is testimony to IndiGo’s dedication to cultivating a secure environment for all its employees.
KelpHR PoSH Awards recognize and felicitate organisations for being among the most transformational and inclusive workplaces in India, with regards to Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the workplace. The jury for the KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023 consisted of industry leaders, intellectuals, and subject matter experts in their respective fields. The process of evaluation in the fourth edition of KelpHR PoSH Awards was aimed at enabling organisations with insights and milestones to help build safer, happier and more inclusive workplaces, as it takes much more than legal compliance to build workplaces that we aspire for and dream of creating.

Building upon its commitment to fostering a safe work environment, IndiGo has taken several initiatives in this regard. IndiGo has formed an internal committee which is dedicated to creating an environment that serves as a benchmark where each employee can thrive and flourish in a safe workplace; as well as a resource group called ‘6E SAFE SPACE’. IndiGo has a policy framework with all aspects of employment in place – be it recruitment, training, working conditions, salaries, transfers, and career advancement. To equip employees with the necessary knowledge and understanding, IndiGo also periodically conducts a range of workshops across various locations.
The winners of KelpHR PoSH Awards 2023 were judged on various parameters including PoSH compliance, case handling, training and sensitization, diversity, equity and Inclusion initiatives, internal committee, and workplace safety for employees within and outside the office as well as for others.
