Induction programme held for B. Ed. students
ALIGARH : The Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University Centre, Malappuram, Kerala held an online induction programme for the newly admitted 2021-2023 batch B. Ed. students.
Welcoming the students, Dr Faisal KP, Director of the Centre, said that the induction programme is aimed at introducing them to the institution and the B Ed programme. He said students will be able to explore their interest and abilities and use the facilities to excel in their career. He said the orientation programme will also help them build a strong relationship with their teachers.
Mr M. Ahazam Khan (Assistant Registrar) talked about office procedures and Dr Najmuddeen T. introduced students about various scholarship schemes and portals.
Dr Mohammad Basheer K. A., Coordinator highlighted the achievements of the Department of Education while Dr Syed Hayath Basha gave a short talk on NCTE framework.
Dr Mohd Basith PP talked about admission and internship activities and Dr Firoz Ahmed briefed about the rules and regulations for the students’ conduct. Dr Haris C gave a short description about departmental labs and the activities organized by different clubs while Dr Babitha Ann Joseph shared information about the library, digital resources, research and extension activities.
Earlier, Dr Sadaf Jafri, Assistant Professor and event incharge welcomed the guests and students and congratulated them for selecting one of the best universities in India for higher students.
The students also participated in literary activities held as part of the programme to to help them shed inhibitions.
B Ed final year student, Sadaf Khatoon proposed a vote of thanks.
